     practice speaking in English during your spare time.

    Follow the most recent news on CNN and develop your listening skills. Getting as little as 15 minutes of daily news, you will see
       yourself become much more confident listener in English as well as improve your pronunciation as you listen and notice correct
       pronunciation.

       NPR.org
   
    Another very good resource for you to improve your listening skills. Listen to the National Public Radio online, in your car or on your Ipod.

       English Listening Lounge is a great website that will help you practice your listening skills independently.

       If you like listening to music to practice English, here is a good website to do so. You can listen to the music and type in the words/lyrics that you hear. Be careful to only choose songs that have good lyrics and videos!

BYU has an access to this program. Sign on to a BYU computer (or a computer in the ELC lab) and create a new account, then you can direct your own learning. This is a very helpful program!
